The Essex Fine Food show features 100 food and drink producers from all over the South East and beyond who give the public the chance to taste and buy their produce.
Eating and Drinking
At our Food Court, you can indulge in some delicious glutteny as you work your way through a range of dishes from our Street Food specialists including hand made Chinese dumplings, coconut king prawns, Asian style spring rolls and juicy steaks! There will also be a line-up of naughty cocktails, Prosecco, Champagne, real ales, Pimms and much more......
If you love hand made produce, don't forget a large shopping bag and a freezer bag or two! Shop from 100 stands, including the Taste of Anglia Producers village where you can work your way through a range of speciality food and drink stands selling fabulous chutneys and cheeses, liqueurs, spirits and bottled beers, and delicious award winning pies and pates. Discover your favourite foods and try something new!
It's Essex! so there will be live music too, naturally

Idreiss is an outstanding male vocalist who performs a versatile array of hits from the last 5 decades including Chart, Motown, Soul, Jazz and Swing. He performs at some of the UK's most exclusive venues and hotels including Kensington Roof Gardens, The Dorchester, Calridges and The Langham Hotel
Saturday 12th May
Tou Can Jam is brother and sister duo Adam and Lara. They perform Soul, disco and funk music and have been delighting audiences at the Essex Festival of Food and Drink for the past five years

Dan Hull Prepared Foods
Having grown up as a butchers son, understanding food and where it comes from was always important to Dan. After studying at catering college he started a trainee management position with the Hilton hotel group. This gave him the insight he needed to want to become a chef. He loves working with fresh herbs, spices and creating distinctive natural flavours
Mick Binnington, Saturday 12th May
The Windmill, Chatham Green
Mick is the owner and head chef at the Windmill. He has spent his career working in some of the country's top Michelin starred restaurants including the Mandering Oriental in Knightsbrige and most recently working as head chef for Gordon Ramsey's The Narrow in Limehouse.
For Mick, the two most important things for him as a chef are to keep the food simple and use quality ingredients that speak for themselves, a motto he has taken with him for his first solo project
Adam Townsend, Sunday 13th May
The New London, Chelmsford
Adam is the head chef at the New London and has invested a wealth of time and emotion in perfecting his culinary skills. Citing Dan Barber, Grant Achatz and Massimo Bottura among his influences, Adam enjoys the creativity that comes with working in the kitchen and taking known flavour combinations and reinventing them into new dining experiences
David Innes, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May
David started his career at the age of 16 working for the Food Company at Marks Tey. He later found his feet and was mentored at Jimmy's Farm in Suffolk where he really found his passion for high welfare meat and traditional butchery techniques. He takes every opportunity to travel around Essex and Suffolk visiting food shows and demonstrating his passion and knowledge for the trade. David is known as "Off the Hook Butcher" and is looking forward to meeting all the meat eating visitors!
