James is no stranger to Essex - he has been wowing the crowds for the last three years at our sister show "Essex Festival of Food and Drink" at Cressing Temple Barns and now we can give him a huge welcome him to the racecourse. He will of course bring his usual charm, unique presentation style and his passion for proper British food! James is a born chef and entertainer and the combination of his outstanding cooking skills and sense of humour make him a winner every time!

A hugely popular and influential figure on the UK culinary circuit, John is best known as the straight talking co-host and judge of BBC1's MasterChef. Australian by birth, John is credited as one of the main players in introducing Australasian food to the UK in the mid 1990's.

John is passionate about sourcing the best of British produce, particularly within the meat industry, where he has long been a champion of rare breeds

His Aussie sense of humour and natural cooking style will be sure to entertain you.
